Hi Tolu, This is [name]. We met at the Reboot Camp on Saturday morning, where you kindly shared your contact information. First, thank you so much for sharing your journey on your podcast. My decision to embark on my MBA journey was significantly influenced by your podcast, especially the episode with Nnamdi. I remember how I first considered applying to schools in the US, and in my search for insights from international students, your podcast came up. I ended up binge-listening to your episodes and became hooked! Thank you for sharing your experiences—from being an international student to navigating the job hunt and eventually working at Google. Your story is truly inspiring and relatable. Also, thank you for being so warm and friendly. You generously offered to connect me with people who could help with my application, even without me asking, and then went a step further by sharing your contact information. It is easy to see why you are that new Nigerian girl who has friends in all sects and factions of your alma mater. I mean, who wouldn't want to be friends with you? You’re doing an incredible job, and on days when it might not feel like it, I hope this message reminds you of the impact you’re making.

Hi Tolu, My name is ….. and I’m an International Undergrad Student of Public Health at Brigham Young University-Idaho. The content that you share on your podcast has really inspired me throughout my time preparing for my visa interview and also pursuing my educational goals. I wrote to you sometime ago expressing how challenging it was for me getting an available appointment date at the US embassy before the fall semester starts...and I’m so glad you replied. By the grace of God, my emergency appointment request was approved and scheduled for the 2nd of September, 2021 after waiting for 2 months and I feel glad to say that my visa was approved ✅ and I’d be starting classes on campus this fall on the 13th of this month (September). Thanks so much for sharing your story as it really inspired and motivated me to be resilient even when I felt like giving up. I must say that I feel excited and somehow anxious on this journey of being an International Student in the USA but nevertheless, I know it’s worth it. I believe that as you’ve created a positive impact in my life, you’re also doing the same to lots of people out there. You’ve been an inspiration to this generation in ways you may not know, and I believe that you will have success and happiness in your life as you now go forth and continue to live a life of purpose. Looking forward to more of your podcasts. God bless you Tolu for all you do! Sincerely, ….

Dear Tolu, Merry Christmas! Thank you for yielding to God and sharing your grad school story on your podcast. Your podcast really encouraged me when my visa was getting delayed and I had no hope that it would happen for me. The Holy Spirit would lead me to go back to listen to it over again and greatly encourage me. What you do matters! I pray that God will continue to strengthen you. I started my first semester in Nigeria and finished it there. I moved to Canada this week. Although, I got my stamped passport in November, I decided to wait till December to leave. I even got it before my birthday (see pictures attached below for reference) but I just decided to wait it out. God bless you Tolu. I was honestly the least likely to be approved, my application was imperfect but GOD. Even my travel date was moved because of Omicron but by the grace of God I’m in Canada now. There was a time I looked back at your journey and used it to encourage myself. That no matter the hardship you went through to get to America, it still happened for you and I told myself that it will still happen for me. All this to say, if not, If it had not been the Lord who was on our side… God bless you Tolu. Lots of love, ……

I saw your post on Instagram and I am excited to see what new path God is setting you on. You were very instrumental during the period of my job search. You made time to give me constructive criticisms on my CV which helped me land my current Job and you encouraged me when I was frustrated at not making it past interview stages. Thank you so much for all you do for the community. We really appreciate you sis!🤗
