Dear Tolu, Merry Christmas! Thank you for yielding to God and sharing your grad school story on your podcast. Your podcast really encouraged me when my visa was getting delayed and I had no hope that it would happen for me. The Holy Spirit would lead me to go back to listen to it over again and greatly encourage me. What you do matters! I pray that God will continue to strengthen you. I started my first semester in Nigeria and finished it there. I moved to Canada this week. Although, I got my stamped passport in November, I decided to wait till December to leave. I even got it before my birthday (see pictures attached below for reference) but I just decided to wait it out. God bless you Tolu. I was honestly the least likely to be approved, my application was imperfect but GOD. Even my travel date was moved because of Omicron but by the grace of God I’m in Canada now. There was a time I looked back at your journey and used it to encourage myself. That no matter the hardship you went through to get to America, it still happened for you and I told myself that it will still happen for me. All this to say, if not, If it had not been the Lord who was on our side… God bless you Tolu. Lots of love, ……
